What Seedance 2.5 can do

  • Three modes: create a clip, edit an existing video, and transfer motion from a video to a character from a photo (Motion control).
  • Clip length: 4–30 s; resolution: 480p, 720p.
  • First and last frame: the clip starts on your photo and ends on another one.
  • Up to 9 reference images: characters, clothes, objects, style.
  • A video reference (4–30 s) and an audio reference: the motion, camera, voice or music the model builds the scene around.
  • Sound is a switch: speech, effects and music appear right in the clip.
  • Aspect ratios: 16:9, 4:3, 1:1, 3:4, 9:16, 21:9.
  • Seedance does not accept photos or videos with real faces; for real people, the studio suggests Hailuo 3.

Seedance 2.5 pricing

The price is per second of video and depends on the resolution. Prices by resolution are in the table; the total for a clip shows on the button before you start. If a generation fails, the credits come back.

Credits come with paid plans — for example, AstraLITE for 410 ₽ (≈ $4.80) gives 100 credits for 30 days — and with packs that never expire.

How to write a Seedance 2.5 prompt

  • Describe it in order: who is in the frame, what they do, where, what the light is like, and how the camera moves.
  • Refer to uploaded files with @: “@Video 1 dances, clothes from @Image 2.” That way the model knows which file is for what.
  • For a scene with dialogue, write the lines and who says them, and turn on sound.
  • Test a new scene at the lowest resolution and a short length first — it costs less — then run the final version.
  • Short on words? Ask the chat to turn a one-line idea into a detailed scene description, then paste it into the studio.
