How they work with photos

Kling 3.0 uses your photo as the first frame, and optionally the last one, and works out the motion in between. Seedance 2.5 can do the same, but instead of frames it can also take reference photos: a character, clothes, objects. Frames and references don’t work together in one run.

Seedance doesn’t accept photos or videos with real people’s faces. For such shots the studio suggests Hailuo 3.

Sound and the final price

Both models have a sound switch. Kling 3.0 Pro and Standard cost more with sound; Kling O1 costs the same either way. Seedance 2.5’s price depends on resolution, and when the input is a video, the length of the source clip is paid too.
