Kling versions and prices

  • Kling 3.0 Pro — according to the developer, higher image quality than Standard. Clips of 3–15 s, 720p. Price: from 12 credits per second of video, more with sound.
  • Kling 3.0 Standard — the same length and resolution at a lower price: from 9 credits per second of video.
  • Kling O1 — clips of 5–10 s, 720p, the same price with or without sound: 12 credits per second of video.

What Kling 3.0 can do

  • Text to video: describe the character, action, place and camera movement. The chat can help you expand a short idea into a full scene.
  • Image to video: add a first frame, and a last one if you like — the model works out the motion between them.
  • Sound is a switch: speech, effects and music in the clip.
  • Aspect ratios 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 — horizontal video, vertical for Reels and Shorts, square for feeds.

Kling motion control

Motion transfer isn’t available for Kling 3.0 in our studio: here Kling only has the Create video mode. To have your character repeat a dance or gesture from a clip, use Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 or Hailuo 3 in the Motion control tab. With a photo of a real person, only Hailuo 3 works: Seedance does not accept such photos.

Kling 3.0 vs Seedance 2.5

Kling 3.0 builds a scene from one or two frames and doesn’t take reference images of characters. Seedance 2.5 takes up to 9 photos of a character plus video and audio references, and runs longer — 4–30 s. If your scene starts from a ready frame and fits in one Kling clip (3–15 s), start with Kling 3.0 Standard: it costs less. A detailed breakdown is on the Kling 3.0 vs Seedance 2.5 page.

Not here: in our studio Kling only creates clips. Motion transfer is done by Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 and Hailuo 3.

No. Kling is developed by Kuaishou; AstraGPT is an independent service that gives access to the model through its own studio.
